Talented rapper Gigi Lamayne who has made a name for herself in the hip hop realm by releasing good, timeless, rap music working with the best of the best in the rap game today has finally released her highly anticipated project dubbed ‘Job Woods’.
The album features her hit single ‘Bozza’ with the ‘Spirit’ hit maker, Kwesta. Other established rappers involved in the project are YoungstaCPT, Eminent Fam, Duncan, 25K, Zakwe, Mickey M, F-Eezy, Red Button, and Siya Shezi.
Gigi Lamayne who once released three albums within the span of a year has worked with different record producers on the ‘Job Woods’ EP, working with Tweezy, Tantrik, Abza, and J Twinn predominantly recording most of the records on the project.
Gigi Lamayne opened up about the reason why she decided to put up together this project saying that one of the reasons was that most people thought of her as a casualty in the industry.
“I think one of the reasons for me to put up this project together was really about people thinking that I was a casualty …” she says on the skit.
Gigi Lamayne also explained the reason why she came up with the title of the EP, apparently everybody already ruled out Job(in the Bible) and Tiger Woods but through the grace of God both these great people in their generation bounced back to be as great even more greater than they were before. So, the the EP ‘Job Woods’ was coined from Job and Tiger Woods who bounced back in life just the way Gigi Lamayne bounced back from her shortcomings to become one of the best independent rap artistes in hip hop today.
