I got to give it out to Eric Wainaina -who is one of the best artistes who is gifted with the vocals of the angels to ever come from Kenya- for this album, ‘Dreams in Stereo’, it’s nothing you’d expect from him.

I would gladly tell his fans right now, that you will never be ready listening to this album by Eric Wainaina, it is full of surprises.

When you listen to the first song off the album ‘Okay’ you would think you are listening to the original Sam Smith, Eric Wainaina sounds like Smith on that record if nothing else he sounds better than the Englishman because the vocals on that record is something nobody can explain it to perfection as it should be.

The ‘Dreams in Stereo’ is the fourth studio album by the veteran musician and electrifying performer, Eric Wainaina after ‘Sawa Sawa’, ‘Twende Twende’, ‘Love + Protest’ and it has not disappointed one bit.

This is a worthy come back after since he didn’t release any album ever since his last project ‘Love + Protest’ which was released way back in 2011.

You Know they usually say that many albums from established artistes usually have two to four hit records while the other remaining ones are records not even worth mentioning, but with this album, I would say that all the records are hit records and it seems like they “talk” to you.

What I think Eric Wainaina owes me and whoever else has listened the album is for him to release the video for at least the ‘Okay’ record which is the very first track off the album with the 4th record off the album ‘Don’t Bury Me’ which features John Nzenze, Kendi Nkonge, Blinky Bill and add ‘Now That’s Fire’ just for kicks so that he shows us his dance moves.

I have a feeling the ‘Now That’s a Fire’ record will soon appear in some of these high-end American hit series, I believe it has everything essential to go commercial with a big bang!

Here are the track lists as arranged sequentially in order, don’t forget to have a taste of the album below before you stream the album.

1.Okay
2. Hold Me Down
3. Hallelujah People
4. Don’t Bury Me featuring John Nzenze, Kendi Nkonge, Blinky Bill

I don’t care what you’ve heard, what you’ve been believing about pop music in Kenya but Eric Wainaina’s latest album #DreamsinStereo is the best pop album I have listened to thus far and if you haven’t listened to it, I got three words for you: SORRY FOR YOU.
