Mombasa senator, Hon Omar Hassan has reportedly and allegedly called on coast residents to dump ODM because the party no longer represent the wishes & aspirations of the people from the coast but instead they should chart a new political path to avoid marginalization. He urged those believing Governor Hassan Joho will win presidency in 2022 under ODM Party to stop hallucinating.
Senator Omar Hassan and Hon Ababu Namwamba are obviously at loggerheads with CORD supremo, Hon Raila Odinga yet they once represented the freshness & youthfulness in Raila’s politics and even swore by his name.
The two leaders believe the former prime minister is way past his best and urgently need to pass the mantle of leadership to the next generation of leaders capable of effectively challenging UhuRuto’s administration.
“Raila Odinga is quick to criticize Uhuru (president) for doing clerical work of issuing title deeds but again he (Raila) is happy to distribute bursary funds to Mombasa residents which I believe should be left to chiefs and village elders.
