Stivo Simple Boy left fans and social media users in a state of confusion after a video emerged showing him giving his fan a gift of Ksh100.
The video that appeared on TikTok shows Stivo meeting one of his fans and asked him which song he likes from his music catalogue.
After greeting each other, the fan happily mentioned to him that he liked his song ‘Freshi Barida’.
“Unapenda ngoma yangu gani?” Stevo Simple Boy asked.
“Freshi Barida,” he replied.
Stivo didn’t take long before he reached into his pocket and took out a Ksh100 note and gave it to the fan while promising him to come back and buy him lunch later.
“Tutakuja baadaye alafu tukununulie ka lunch. Uko hapa karibu??” Stivo could be heard asking the young man, who replies that he will wait for him to return.
In response to the video, netizens are torn apart. Some thought that the money was too little and bordered on rudeness, while others wanted Stevo not to try too hard to match other well established.
