Stevo Simple Boy, a well-known figure in Kenya’s music scene, has revealed his intention to step into the political arena, aiming to extend essential services to his fans and community.

In a recent interview, the ‘Mihadarati’ rapper shared that he has been receiving persistent encouragement from his hometown of Oyugis in Homa Bay County to consider a political career and become their leader.

Despite not having previously envisioned a future in politics, Stevo Simple Boy is contemplating this new path in response to the strong calls from his people.

“People at our home in Oyugis have been wanting a lot but I said give me time first to make music and then I will be their MCA later. I myself am not ready yet,” he said, indicating that he might run for the position of Member of County Assembly (MCA) in the future.

Currently, Stevo has requested some time to focus on his music career before seriously evaluating the possibility of entering politics.

This gradual approach allows him to continue his artistic endeavors while considering the community’s appeals.

In addition to his potential political ambitions, Stevo Simple Boy is also committed to nurturing new talent in the music industry.

He revealed plans to introduce and support a new artist, a gospel musician, who has been dedicated to spreading the gospel message since a young age.

“I am also with my artist whom I hope to sign. He is a gospel artist and you know to tell the truth that gospel music has declined a lot in this country, and he has been holding the message of the gospel since he was young until he reached here,” Stevo explained.

Stevo Simple Boy’s dual focus on his music and potential political career highlights his dedication to serving his community and supporting the local music scene.

Whether through his songs or future political initiatives, Stevo aims to make a positive impact on those around him.
