Stivo Simple Boy has been living in abject poverty even though he was making a lot of money while he was signed to his former management Made In Kibera (MIK).
Stivo’s ex-girlfriend Purity Vishenwa alias Pritty Vishy complained numerous times that Stivo’s old management MIK gave him a raw deal.
Vishy said that the rapper had been brainwashed by MIK who were taking the bulk of the money he was making from his music career.
The rapper’s girlfriend revealed that the highest amount of money MIK management ever paid Stivo after performing was a meager Ksh2,000.
She said Stivo was paid about Ksh50,000 per performance but MIK paid him peanuts but he never complained. Pritty Vishy lamented that the management had brainwashed Stivo that he did whatever he was instructed.
She said the management moved him to a bedsitter in Kayole so that he could be far away from ‘bad’ influence in Kibera, people like Vishy who were trying to enlighten him about being exploited.
Pritty Vishy revealed that the management tried hard to make Stivo break up with her because she has always fought for him to be paid more money to get him out of poverty.
Stivo Simple Boy at last dumped the old management MIK that exploited him and is now being managed by MIB Africa.
MIK refused to hand over Stivo’s social media accounts forcing him to open new ones. However, the rapper is making significant strides in escaping the jaws of poverty since he dumped the old management.
Stivo striked a deal with Men Vs Boys League clothing brand to be their brand ambassador. He is also getting the largest share of revenues generated from his music.
With more deals and revenues coming his way, it’s only a matter of time before Stivo Simple Boy becomes a multimillionaire if he makes wise investment decision.
