Clearly Steph can rap, yes she can actually rap, don’t be fooled by the pretty face and the alluring, captivating smile she usually wear that makes you believe there’s no trouble and/or worries whatsoever in this wretched world. She was a part of Africa rappers who were a part of a cypher that proved that Africa has the most talented rappers right now.

Steph recently released one of the hardest freestyles you will ever listen to on radio and thank goodness she shared on online for the sake of her fans. That freestyle will most definitely win her over some legit and honest fans.

In case you missed it: Steph dropped one unforgettable freestyle that puts hip hop in a new light

Steph has been able to make a buzz for herself as a rapper without even a record out in her name.

She changed all that a couple of days ago when she finally got to release her debut record dubbed ‘Papaya Dreams’ featuring Kev Beatz, Maingi Muzik that proves she is indeed here to stay and most importantly, she’s versatile.

Steph is also not shy to use her words to express herself and there’s not one soul who could introduce her better than she can herself and she did that way perfectly via social media in class.

“I am Steph. NOT Kapela. NOT Stefflon Don. JUST Steph. I do music (among other things). I make art and I’m REALLY good at whatever I commit to taking on. More importantly, I do ALL of it for me before anyone or anything else.” her post read in part introducing herself to her fans at 4 AM in the morning.

Steph has also made sure to let everybody know that she’s here[the rap game] because she chose to, not because of anyone or anything but because she loves rap and hip hop so much so that she wants to be a part of it, without handouts too.

“I’m not here for the clout. I’m not here for the handouts. I’m not here for the game. I’m here because I choose to. If you connect with that shit and you wanna share it, then go ahead. If you don’t, power to you- keep it moving.” she added.

There’s no argument that Steph is indeed going to be an interesting rap act in the country since she has decided to go all out and her latest record ‘Papaya Dreams’ is only the beginning.

I love everybody who loves everybody, somebody got to love somebody at some point.
Music is something that comes natural to everybody and it's a language that everybody can understand, I understand it and that's why I speak it
fluently, do you.
