According to Boity, the horrific incident took place around Melville, Johannesburg.
Boity took to Twitter to diarize her experience.
“Arrived home by the grace of God. Just escaped an attempted smash and grab in Melville. My goodness,” Boity tweeted.
“Dude appeared out of God knows where, banged very hard on my window about 3 times and I just put my foot on the accelerator.”
On Thursday morning, Boity assured fans that she was doing ok despite the traumatic incident.
“Thank you guys for the kind words & concern. Was tossing & turning most of the night from the anxiety. But I’m feeling ok now,” Boity thanked fans.
