Noti Flow has taken to social media to reiterate some important stuff about music that apparently most people don’t seem to get and/or understand about the music industry.

Noti Flow stressed to a fan who wanted to work with her that music is as much a business as any other business out there and as such, it should be treated as an international conglomerate it is.

Noti Flow who has since made a name for herself as a versatile rapper while addressing how much people should take the music industry disclosed her collaboration fee and some fans and critics are rather impressed.

Noti Flow is apparently charging a whopping KSh. 100,000 for a feature and she is serious about [music] business.

Noti Flow real name Natalie Florence Kutoto shared screenshots of a conversation she had with a fan[Stephen Mercy] who wanted to work with her on her upcoming project but sadly the fan couldn’t afford to pay for her fees.

“People need to understand music is business. Music is an investment. & Music is a cycle. It goes round & round.” Noti Flow said in part.

Noti Flow who was originally offered KShs. 5,000 by Stephen Mercy for the collaboration record wasn’t impressed at all and even brought up her desire to work with either Davido and Rihanna[who she’s an ardent fan and follower].

Noti Flow reiterated the importance of investing in your music to get a rather unique and powerful catalog and if you want to work with somebody who might escalate you in a certain stature, you best be ready and willing to pay for their feature fees.

“f I’m to do a song with Davido for example or Riri ima have to pay their respective fees since I’m an up coming to them. Well, I love Riri to death, I’d die for a song with her but sadly I can’t afford her.” Noti Flow added revealing that she would want to work with Rihanna but she knows she can’t afford a record with her just yet.

“That’s the reality of it. Help me help you. You can’t just enter the music industry blindly with no money to invest in your music ( well unless you have a management to do that for ya) An advice to all aspiring to do music for the first time… I suggest you get the doh first. It will save you a lot of struggles. That’s my 2 cents.”

Noti Flow also gave a parting shot that most critics are believing she took a shoot at Ochungulo Family and Sailors hinting their songs, ‘Pandemic and Lamba Lolo’ are somewhat mediocre.

“But then again you can do pandemic or lamba lolo typa songs & videos those don’t need money I guess. Let’s just all know our places & act accordingly” she added.
