Miss South Africa Zozibini Tunzi crowned the Miss Universe 2019 in Atlanta

Everybody in the world, not only in South Africa have people kicking away their Monday blues after learning the beautiful Zozibini Tunzi has been crowned the 2019 Miss Universe at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, on December 8, 2019.

The beautiful, melanin goddess won the title to defeat Puerto Rico’s Madison Anderson, and Sofia Aragon from Mexico in the top three slots.

The lovely 26-year-old South African beauty succeeds yet another beauty from Philippines, Catriona Elisa Magnayon Gray who won the crown in 2018.

The Black Americans also can’t keep calm this year since for the first ever time in history, the Miss America, Miss USA, Miss Teen USA are all black and Zozibini Tunzi winning the title of Miss Universe might just be an indication to all blacks that it was indeed their time to shine globally this year.

Zozibini Tunzi is not only the first black Miss South Africa to be crowned Miss Universe, she's the first black African to ever win the pageant. This is the third time, South Africa has won the coveted Miss Universe title after Margaret Gardiner who won it when she 18 years old in 1978, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters who was crowned the Miss Universe 2017 and now, the ravishing, melanin-popping goddess Zozibini Tunzi made it a third time by winning the Miss Universe title for South Africa.
