Former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko, who has been campaigning aggressively against homosexuality in Kenya, was met with a rude shock after he found out that some of his friends are actually gay.
Sonko, without revealing the names of his gay friends, noted his LGBTQ buddies worked in the former government of president Uhuru Kenyatta.
The former Nairobi governor further noted that his gay friends told him to stop his campaign against homosexuality in Kenya.
“Wawawaaaaa!! Kumbe mpaka marafiki zangu some of them ni mashoga hata wake walikuwa kwa former Ngavament. Imagine they’re calling wanasema tuwachane na hiyo story ya ELNGIMBITICUE ati uko manjuu iko mpaka kwa law. What’s your take about this?” Sonko tweeted.

Sonko recently lost his Facebook page with over 2.5 million followers after LGBTQ members reported him for hating them.
Sonko irked homosexuals with his constant criticisms of homosexuality since the Supreme Court ruling that allowed the registration of LGBTQ groups.
Homosexuals have been reporting Sonko’s anti-LGBTQ posts on Facebook prompting the social media site to issue him with multiple strikes before ultimately deleting his account.
