Smallz Lethal has made a reputation over the years for speaking his mind out through a song and he doesn’t shy away from calling out anyone, absolutely anyone if he believes that he is on the wrong no matter which position the person he/she is calling out holds in the society.
This time around, the person who is on the receiving end of Smallz Lethal’s lethal lyrics is none other than Kisii’s CEC for Culture, Sports, Youth and Social Services, Mr. Duke Mainga Echate.
Smallz Lethal who owns a football club in Kisii called the Kisii Rap Kings Football Club(K.R.K F.C) has something to tell the minister who has allegedly been sleeping on his job for years now.
According to Smallz Lethal who is one rapper that is bent on empowering the Kisii youth to their greatest potential, he believes that Duke Echate has been sleeping on the job with no intentions of helping out the youth and without the experience of running the Sports ministry in Kisii.

Smallz Lethal didn’t have any word/s to spare when calling out Kisii’s Sports Minister, Duke Echate who won at the annual Gusii Creative Awards as the ‘Minister of the Year’ in Kisii dedicating an entire second verse to him.
“There are no deeds to accompany the award he got”
Smallz Lethal went to the Minister after seeing faults in the Sub-county federation league to tell him to assist in any way possible but the minister gave him empty promises of supporting county teams but over the years, there hasn’t been any support and development offered from his office since he was given that job position.
“Fields ziko poor na a promised talent academy bado hasn’t been set up. So are the artists still thinking that with these two years remaining they will live up to their promise?” Smallz Lethal told Biggest Kaka in part about the current situation in Kisii’s sub-county league.
“So it’s me facing him in a song that addresses the predicaments of the common Mwananchi, the young and talented youth whose strengths are going to waste.” an offended Smallz Lethal added.
On the ‘I’m Offended’ record, Smallz Lethal who dedicated an entire verse[verse two] on the same record to the CEC for Culture, Sports, Youth and Social Services, Mr. Duke Mainga Echate –who previously worked at the Kisii University (Nairobi Campus)– and says that he is busy entertaining Nevaton, who is Shabana Football Club’s Chairman and husband to Lilian Muli than doing his job that he was appointed to do.

“Nevaton alikam kisii na chopper waziri akakimbia akapiga selfies badala ya kustrategize kuhusu getting Shabana a sponsor. Nothing fruitful came out of that meeting, they ended up going for mbuzi in waziri’s place in Bomachoge Ward” Smallz Lethal went on telling Biggest Kaka.
“Governor Ongwae suspended him (Mr. Duke Mainga Echate) from office sometime last year Tena akamrudisha, youth wanataka hiyo kiti ikaliwe na mtu ako conversant na job yake na anajua kitu ya kufanya. The minister doesn’t even know the predicaments of the young players playing at the county league, let alone the poor football fields that he hasn’t visited ever since he stepped office” Smallz Lethal added.
According to Smallz Lethal, Mr. Duke Mainga Echate is not involved with the youth in Kisii as he should be, especially in the football league and many football clubs there don’t have sponsors even though he is in the right position to help change that predicament that most players in the league have been going through for so long.
