Shepherd Bushiri my favourite pastor, is at it again. the man who invented an ATM card for his flock, to buying a home worth 1.2 billion shillings has come out with some spectacular news on his social media.
I understand that the church holds some things sacred, like the bond between parents and children. But the way the modern church follows some of the statutes that are in the Bible are both very selective and biased. The photo is very interesting in that the “Prophet” is seating in his car while his daughters who are barely past the ages of 8 years are kneeling on the cabro surface. From the picture, the man looks like a small god which he isn’t. He is just a mere man like you and me. His shit smells like yours and mine. No roses there.
The photo just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I don’t mind parents blessing their children but this photo makes it seem like the children are praying to their father. But what do I know anyway? Have a look at the snap below:

“I am always amazed at how my daughters are growing up in the fear of the Lord. Each and every time before I leave home they always come and kneel for prayer and for a word of blessing. They love receiving from me because they too have understood that their father is a Prophet. Yes, as young as they are.
It reminds me of the Bible verse in psalms that says, ‘Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it. I have always believed that the most important thing fathers can do for themselves and their family is to make hearing the Word of God and doing the instructions therein, the greatest priorities of their life and the lives of their children. Any family that is built upon the word of God is a family that cannot be moved and it is a family that will remain prosperous in body, soul and spirit. I thank God for my kids- I prophesy long life!”
