Shakilla has finally made her way back to social media making a comeback after months of taking a break from social media.
Prior to taking the long social media break, Shakilla was everywhere making news everywhere with her social media posts and her comments on viral stuff. Right now, she’s back but she’s back differently, not the way she used to be.
Shakilla who once broke the internet by naming all the top celebrities she’s bedded despite the young age that landed her in trouble after she was sued by professional footballer Victor Wanyama said that she was battling depression because of social media pressure.
She shared that she used to compare herself with other successful people who tend to share their success online by flaunting them for the whole world to see. When she couldn’t take it any longer, she made the choice of taking a break from social media because of her mental health.
“I used to get depressed when I came to these apps, had to take a break. Social media will really have you thinking you’re stuck in life and/or FOMO[Fear Of Mission Out].
This [expletive] is not healthy for real, watching people at various stages in life comparing it to ours. No way that’s healthy,” she wrote on her Instagram stories.
A lot of netizens have commended her for her growth in the long break she took away from social media, even celebrities noted the growth and patted her on the back for the growth.
