Shakilla was sued by footballer Victor Wanyama after she claimed that the former Tottenham midfielder paid her Ksh 700,000 for sex.
During an Instagram Live chat with Xtian Dela, Shakilla claimed that she was paid for sex by a number of Kenyan celebrities, including Wanyama and Khaligraph Jones.
Wanyama strongly refuted the claims by Shakilla terming them as character assassination, the footballer further stated that the socialite was only making a sensational claim for mere publicity.

Shakilla publicly appealed for financial help from her fans to foot her legal fees after Wanyama sued her for defamation.
“So next month (November) we are doing the first hearing for the Wanyama case and I have just talked to my legal team, seen the legal fees, seen how much this thing (the case) could cost. Oh my God. So I’m putting in a pay bill number, please send any amount that you have and I will really appreciate,” wrote Shakilla.
Shakilla appears to have gotten the money she wanted, or she is just living a lie. The 19-year-old socialite caused a stir when she was seen flaunting huge wads of cash in a recently released music video.
Shakilla has released a Gengetone music video dubbed ‘Ndovu’, in which she is seen flaunting cash, arranging wads of notes on the table, and inside her chest.
