Senator Millicent Omanga is one woman who will not be shamed if recent comments by her are anything to go by.
The nominated senator is proud of her curves despite the negative comments she has been receiving from internet trolls.
Who is she by the way? She is a first-time senator who became popular for going against Rachel Shebesh for the Nairobi Women Representative seat on the Jubilee ticket.
She lost it to Rachel Shebesh, who eventually lost the seat to ODM candidate Esther Passaris in the August 8 general election.
Since she became a nominated senator, social media stalkers have taken the opportunity to shame her for her body size.
The curse of popularity, once people see you are a public figure, they either tear you down or adore you. So one must keep their head up and stand tall despite whatever the public may spew at you.
You are your own biggest defender, that is something Senator Millicent Omanga knows all too well.
So she finally came out with a post on Wednesday to defend her body size. Her caption was:

While this post may contradict another post she made in September, where she alluded to hitting the gym. But that is her choice. Someone can change their mind if they so wish. Here is her Facebook post:
