Yesterday, Sauti Sol celebrated Savara Mudigi’s birthday with pomp and music at The Point, Buruburu. The event also marked the official launch of Savara’s Women Advancement (SAWA) program to help women aged between 18-25 years through training and mentorship.
Among the event highlights included performances from new cats hailing from Eastlands such as Swiga, Konkodi, and Emmie among others.
Old cats in the game including Bon-Eye, Nameless, Kristoff, Gabu, and Timmy T-Dat were also on the list of performers at the event. Industry heavy-weights like Nyashinski were also treated to an enthusiastic performance with such hits as Malaika and Mungu Pekee getting all in attendance up on their feet.
Sauti Sol hit the stage around 9:00 PM and performed their top hits with entertaining dance for about 2 hours before bringing the concert to a climactic close.
The concert marks the launch of an initiative that will likely see the support of Sauti Sol’s involvement moving forward.
The event was sponsored by Chrome Vodka and Betin.
