Sauti Sol set to release the second single off ‘Midnight Train’ album to entertain fans on lockdown

Sauti Sol is by far on top of their game so-to-speak across the African continent with plans to take over the world by storm, but first, we have to deal with the pandemic Coronavirus, COVID-19.

Sauti Sol who recently signed one of the lucrative deals of their career and also received a massive shout of from the one and only, India Arie gave one sizzling performance on Instagram Live that will never ever be forgotten which left fans asking for an encore.

The band which comprises of Bien-Aimé Baraza, Polycarp Otieno, Delvin Mudigi Savara, Willis Austin Chimano being as sweet and caring to their fans as they usually are decided to comply to the encore request but they scheduled it to be on March 28th, 2020.

The scheduled YouTube concert which was aimed to make up for the disappointment of also not performing at the UK’s Jazz Cafe that was slotted for today sadly couldn’t work as well.

Sauti Sol decided to cancel the concert altogether due to pandemic, Coronavirus, COVID-19.

“Following the cancellation of our UK tour date at Jazz Cafe on the 28th we were optimistic that we could stream to you a live concert on YouTube to make up for the disappointment.” Sauti Sol’s official letter their fans read.

“Unfortunately, with the rising cases of COVID-19, we must CANCEL the YouTube concert scheduled for this Saturday, March 28th.”

“We have prioritized the urgent need for our brand, friends, families and team’s safety.”

Just to assure fans that they(Sauti Sol) always have their best interest at heart, they went on ahead to promise to release a second single off their upcoming 5th studio album ‘Midnight Train’ that we have already had a taste of from the hit record ‘Suzanna’ that has since taken the African music scene by storm, the hit song is off the project.

The ‘Midnight Train’ album is slotted to be released in May 2020 but just to make it up for their fans who they have iterated they want them to have a good time while they are on lock up, the band decided to give them another taste of what to come in the studio album by releasing a second single off the project next Friday.

“But hey, we still love you and we wanna make your lockdown and isolation by dropping the second single off our upcoming album ‘Midnight Train’, next Friday, April 3rd.” they added urging fans to stay at home using that ‘Together At Home’ hashtag.
