Sauti Sol recently went into partnership with Universal Music Group which will make sure their music and their entire catalog will be heard globally with ease since now they have a well-oiled machine –so to speak– that will help push their music to greater and wider audiences.
Who knows, Sauti Sol might as well collaborate with internationally acclaimed artistes like Lady Gaga, Jay Z, Rihanna. Kanye West, Adele even Mariah Carey who both have a working relationship with Universal Music Group where Sauti Sol is currently signed under.
That being said, Sauti Sol has made unprecedented history by being the first African group in history to have a million views in three days on YouTube alone without sponsoring.
Clearly and evidently, Sauti Sol who recently sold out a show in London in three days is adored by almost everybody across Africa.
For instance, their latest hit record ‘Suzanna’ has been trending in Kenya for 10 days-straight at number one in Kenya on YouTube, also trending in Tanzania at number 13.
There’s no denying that Sauti Sol is here to stay for the long haul since their music can be heard by every person on earth since it cuts across all ages. A 16-year-old can listen to Sauti Sol in the same room with an 80-year-old person.
With songs like ‘Suzanna’ will clearly be here long after Sauti Sol are long gone and their great-grandchildren are roaming the earth.
