Sauti Sol has been on a roll this year, especially after they released their official video for their hit record, ‘Suzanna’ which received a million views on Youtube in one day making history at that.

The Afro-pop band has since owned the music scene as we know it, at least across the African region with almost all of the already established African artistes wanting to work with the already established music band that has since become a brand over the years.

Just a couple of hours ago, Sauti Sol announced working on the soundtrack of the historical African series, Queen Sono, working on the project with Sho Madjozi and Black Motion.

Sauti Sol has been made the cover of Spotify’s ‘African Heat’ playlist which is Spotify’s biggest African music playlist today.

This isn’t a feat to be taken lightly because they are not only the first Kenyan musical group to attain such honors but also the first East African music group to ever grace such an honor and Sauti Sol made sure to let the world know and Spotify know how grateful, humbled and privileged they are to have such a honor laid on them.
