Sauti Sol took everyone by surprise when they announced that they were no longer being managed by Marek Fuchs. The all boys band has a new manager.
Sauti Sol was first managed by popular media personality Njambi Koikai when they were still struggling to make it big in Kenyan music industry.
It’s Marek Fuchs who took Sauti Sol to the new heights of success, the Czech was in charge of the group when they won MTV Europe Music Award for Best African Act in 2014.
The quartet has however parted ways with Marek Fuchs. Speaking during an interview with Word Is, Sauti Sol’s Bien revealed that the Czech was no longer their manager because of a new record deal they signed.
“After we signed a new record deal, it came with new rules, which is why Marek is currently not our manager. It is only that we have also grown because we now have Sol Generation, but we will still be working with him, although he will not be managing our day-to-day work any more. We are currently managed by a South African manager, ACA,” Bien said.
Adding that;
“He is a hardworking person and we will still have him as a brother. Life is about growth and so we have to keep growing.”
