Sauti Sol is about to join the long list of established Kenyan musician to work with gengetone musicians which is the genre currently taking over the music scene with such authority.
Currently gengetone groups like Ethic, Sailors, Ochungulo Family, Boondocks Gang and others have since taken over the music scene creating a genre that Kenyans have been proud to call their own, which is somewhat a big win for the music industry altogether.
Sauti Sol took to social media and shared with their fans that they are actually in the studio working on a project together with Boondocks Gang which comprises of Odi Wa Murang’a, ExRay and Maddox and it’s only a matter of time before they release the masterpiece that they are bound to drop once it is all set and ready.
“Ile sherehe mtapiga kwa hizi streets 🙌🏿🔥. 🙆🏿♂️🙆🏿♂️” Sauti Sol promised how epic their collaboration single will be.
Sauti Sol working with Gengetone musicians, makes them join the long list of artistes like Jua Cali, Otile Brown, Octopizzo, Femi One and others who has worked on a project with gengetone established artistes currently controlling the Kenyan airwaves.
