Sauti Sol doesn’t need any introduction in the eyes of many Kenyans, the same goes for Otile Brown. Almost every other person in Kenya who owns a smartphone from the age of 40 years and below knows who Otile Brown and Sauti Sol are.
Sauti Sol and Otile Brown are both established and self-made music acts in the Kenyan music industry today who have for the most part of their music career, let their music work speaks for itself without relying on gimmicks to sell their music to the people. They have really earned their stripes in becoming the sought-after music acts in Kenya today changing the narrative while at it.
Sauti Sol is a musical force that will live long after they’ve gone but then again, so is Otile Brown.
Otile Brown has managed to achieve such milestones in the Kenyan music industry that would otherwise be considered a piped dream if Otile Brown wouldn’t have achieved them.
Otile Brown real name Jacob Obunga has for the longest time hold record for having not one but two songs on Youtube that are most watched on the platform without using clout or gimmick. To say that Otile Brown is talented and/or gifted is an understatement.
Otile Brown is a musical genius who has proved without any doubt, without any provocation that he is indeed one of the greatest musicians from Kenya if not the greatest.

Brown’s dedication to his craft has made him so successful yet humbled that he doesn’t get moved like any other musician would have been moved by his major wins in his career.
Otile has worked with some of the top musicians across Africa but he’s yet to work with the all-boys band group, Sauti Sol. The million-dollar question is: when will he work with Sauti Sol?
If the two musician powerhouse were a football team or even combat athletes, it would have been appropriate to note that their clash was the best matchup to make.
All Kenyans need right now is an Otile Brown, and Sauti Sol collaboration.
Great both music acts have worked with the best the African music industry has to offer but what’s stopping them from working together? Their collabo would hands-down blow everything else out of the water easily having people singing on repeat the hook of their song.
I don’t know about you, but I cannot wait to listen to a Sauti Sol, Otile Brown collabo. I don’t know even if there’s in talks about working together or not but the two acts working together is what most Kenyans deserve.
I wonder when they’ll get to work together. Until then, a boy can only dream I guess.
