The bezel has been switched up with a new digital dial that offers haptic feedback whenever it’s swiped around the outer edge of the device. The haptic feedback stimulates the clicking of a wheel, initiating the necessary commands selected.

It comes with new health sensors that allow it to read data faster and track more than 39 workouts, ranging from running to swimming. It can also allow you to track real stress levels and comes with a new guided meditation system like the Apple Watch. It gives you precise health insights when you need it, while keeping you fully connected.

The watch comes in 40mm and 44mm sizes, its matte finish and slightly curved glass gives it a simple, clean elegant look. The Super AMOLED screens come off as beautiful, exuding vibrant bright colors. They are protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass DX+ which cushions it from scratches. The always on display might take a dip into the battery life but it’s a necessary evil anyone can overlook since the watch can average two days on battery.

Despite the ECG app still being in its development phase, its myriad of health and fitness tracking apps and capabilities makes the galaxy watch active 2 a worthy contender against the recently released apple watch 5.
