Soita Shitanda,former Housing Minister is dead.
Soita Shitanda passed away around 2pm. The former minister was admitted at the Nairobi Hospital,reportedly under critical health conditions.
Soita Shitanda was also the chairman of the Agricultural Development Corporation until his saden death.
Shoita Shitanda represented the people of Malava constituency from 1997 after defeating Mr. Joshua Angatia on a Ford Kenya ticket.
Mr.Shitanda was re-elected in 2002 on the NARC ticket and served as an assistant minister in the office of the President, before he was appointed minister for housing in a cabinet reshuffle in 2005.
Shitanda was reelected to parliament in 2007 and reappointed as housing minister.
