Celebrated Tanzanian musician Rose Muhando hosted an album launch party at Villa Rose Kempinski on Saturday, February 27 where it flopped.

The members attending the album launch event were supposed to pay a staggering amount of KShs. 50,000 with Corporate sponsorship beginning at KShs. 1 all the way to KShs. 5 million.

This huge amount shocked Kenyans who were rather shocked by the huge amount she was demanding as attendance fees.

Apparently, Rose Muhando’s reason for charging that huge amount is because she intended to raise the money to build a Church in Tanzania.

She went on to add that she had a calling from God to organize the aforementioned album launch event which would finance the Church she intended to build in her native home in Tanzania.

During her radio interview, Rose Muhando explained her reasons behind charging the staggering huge amount of KShs. 50,000 as the entrance fees.

”It does not matter where the church will be located but I will just be happy when I succeed to build the church for God,” Muhando added.

Yesterday was the day of the event and Rose Muhando was prepared for the big day wearing an all camouflage attire but according to photos taken at the event, there were empty tables at the album launch event.

Only a handful of Kenyans attended the album launch party.

Among those who promised to attend the album launch event was Pastor James Wanjohi, Joyce Gituro, Nancy Kwamboka, Mama Africa, Tonny Mwirigi, Eva Mwalili, Mzazi Willy Tuva, Solomon Mukubwa.

The only people who were present at the event were allegedly the press who made their way inside through the free press badge that was given out to them.

I am a Pan-Afrikanist to the core and love to let the world know what they are missing in Africa. I might do that through music and some interesting posts from time to time so please bare with me.

I will always be real though, that's a guarantee.
