Robert Alai has taken to social media to note that Kenyan musicians are getting exploited by Ngomma on YouTube.

According to the controversial blogger who is vying for a political seat in the upcoming general elections in 2022, he is convinced that “Ngomma is the digital version of PRISK, PAK, MCSK”.

Ngomma has been managing top YouTube accounts for artistes like Willy Paul, Otile Brown, Bahati, and other well-known entertainers, they don’t only manage YouTube accounts of musicians.

“If you are a musician with 100’s of thousands of YouTube subscribers but you have handed it over to Ngomma to manage it for you, know that they are being conned.

Ngomma is the digital version of PRISK, PAK, MCSK etc. Ngomma takes these accounts which earns them millions,” Robert Alai wrote in part in his official Twitter handle.

He went further to add that Ngomma allegedly takes advantage of their artistes by paying them a small amount of the money they make through Adsense as compared to the huge amount the YouTube accounts makes them per month.

“Ngomma gets an account with 300,000 subscribers earning an average of Ksh 500,000 – 700,000 every month through Adsense but they pay the artists only Ksh 30,000 to 50,000.

It’s extreme exploitation. Leeches all over this 254,” the controversial blogger added.

Robert Alai urges musicians to take over their YouTube accounts and manage it themselves the way Diamond Platnumz does and learn a thing or two about managing the same and even install VidIQ and integrate it into your YouTube account to help you manage it.
