Yours truly, the venomous Moses Kuria is at his trades again. This guy must have been a trouble maker since his school days.
As CORD prepares to storm IEBC offices, to oust Mr. Hassan, Moses Kuria has this to say to both parties:
This is an appeal to Isaak Hassan & co on the one hand and Raila Odinga and co on the other hand. I am reliably informed that you two have some personal business to sort out tomorrow. That is your right. However the rest of us Kenyans have nothing to do with it. We want to wake up at 5am-like we always do- and go about our daily hussles. We want to deliver milk to our clients, open our small stalls, go to Gikomba for new stocks, go to Machakos bus stop to receive the fresh bananas from Kisii, and hope that Mbugua the butcher will deliver meat by 7am for our kiosks. Yes, all we want is ensure that the Kawangware wholesaler will supply the Kangemi vendor with green supplies by 6am. We, the Nyamakima and Marikiti people cant wait to engage our mkokotenis by 5am and we are eager for that bowl from Mama Uji at that hour. There is this client from Nakuru who promised to pass by our Kirinyaga road shop for the new spares by 6.30am. And how do we let down Wangechi from Karatina whose consignment of weaves has just landed from China? Or Kalekye who was sent by Mama Nduku of Mulinge Hardware, Machakos to pick the Pangas, Jembes and Hammers that came in from Dubai tonight?
So tonight we advise the two of you, arrange to meet somewhere in Kibera Laini Saba and sort out your differences there. Leave our city centre alone. It is the only place we depend on for our livelihood. Boinnet can give you security out there in Kibera
We the people of this great city will not allow your nonsense to deny us our livelihood. We will use any means within our disposal to defend our city, our businesses, our property, our women and our children
We love the two of you but we love our survival, our livelihoods and our city more
