The news of Hugh Masekela’s passing shook the music industry with a bang and it seems rapper Riky Rick took it to the chin with the news and he took to the gram to share his frustrations.

Hugh Masekela succumbed to an illness he was battling with since 2008. He will surely be missed indeed especially by the music industry.
“Its very rare for older artists to embrace youngers but Hugh did that for me and I will always be grateful. Thank you for everything you stood for and thank you for bringing joy and happiness to so many people at home and abroad. Your legacy will live forever and ever. REST IN PEACE ❤️❤️❤️” he added
