Veteran, respected rapper Rick Ross who has had his fair share of touring different countries like Tanzania, Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa, and others is in plans of making sure that he’s started an MMG(Maybach Music Group) Africa that will uplift African talents and make superstars out of them.
Thanks to Rick Ross’ able hands, he managed to takeoff the careers of Wale and Meek Mill and made them internationally known brands right after he signed them in his record label MMG.
The Biggest Boss has intentions of doing the same to African artistes who got what it takes to go to the next level in the music industry today.
Speaking on his recent interview with the Tanzanian Lil Ommy on his YouTube channel exclusively, Rick Rosss says that Africa’s wave is undeniably taking over and the African music is getting bigger and bigger, it’s only a matter of time.
With artistes like Burna Boy, Khaligraph Jones, Wizkid, Davido, Tekno, Flavour, Nyashinski, Cassper Nyovest, Nasty C, AKA, Kwesta, Alikibia, Nadia Nakai, Don Jazzy, and even Diamond Platnumz being some of the few out of the many talented artistes in the industry, indeed Africa has something to say.

“African music is going to get bigger, just as big as what’s going on over here or bigger, maybe bigger. The African wave[what!] is real, is powerful.
We’re all making music in the same frequency and it’s becoming more popular and once again it was just a vision that I easily could feel, I easily could see, and a lot of other people did too don’t get it twisted but now it’s powerful, I’m happy to see it work.
And I’m going to continue to do what I can so like I say, let’s collaborate music-wise, possibly MMG Africa, let’s collaborate with the brands, let’s go, let’s keep pushing,” Rick Ross disclosed in his interview.
Rick Ross who opened up on his intentions of acquiring properties preferably a mansion in Tanzania worth millions of dollars didn’t open up further on the excruciating details on his plan of signing African artistes on his MMG Africa but in due time, everything will be revealed as it should.
All we got to do is exercise some patience and see what the future holds because the Biggest Boss is about to take over the African music scene with his yet-to-be-signed African artistes from Africa based in Africa.
