A man in Githunguri has reportedly raped his own daughter after a relationship row with his wife.
Police are now on his trail after his reported that he had defiled their 8 year child.
The man arrive late that fateful night, and refused to take food presented to the woman,she says.
After insulting and threatening to slash her, the said woman ran away to spend the night at her in laws a close distance from their home in Githunguri.
Standard reports that,’The mother of three said she woke up the following morning at 5am to check on her family. At 7am she decided to wash her children’s school uniforms and found her white blouse stained with blood. She assumed her husband had brought another woman to their matrimonial bed which she said was common.
‘she inquired from her husband what the source of the blood was. “He told me I should know better because as a man he does not receive monthly periods. I then perused the bed where I found the other bedding was soaked in blood.
Alarmed, she rushed to the children’s bedroom and, shockingly, found her daughter dressed in her brother’s pair of shorts with blood dripping down her legs.’
The incident was reported at Githunguri Police Station (Occurrence Book number 17/7/5/2016).
