The Kenyan music scene is becoming rather interesting by the day as new, fresh and talented artistes and record producers are coming up trying to take over the scene and in the meantime make a name for themselves in the unforgiving, competitive music industry.
That being said, we have seen new crop of artistes like Masauti, Zzero Sufuri, Magix Enga, even Gengetone artistes generally have dedicated their lives to make sure the music scene is taken to unimaginable places which they yearn for on a daily basis.
One record producer by the moniker name of Hitmaker Tk2 is on the up and up trying to make a name for himself without any apologies.
Even though not most people know him and what he’s about, Hitmaker Tk2 has a couple of hit records under his belt with recently working with Nigerian hitmaker, Skales together with Masauti who jumped on one record together dubbed ‘Lege’ which is just a couple of days old.
Taking to social media, Hitmaker Tk2 made a vow to become a mogul in the music business as well as establishing himself as one of the sought-after record producers in the game today.
“For me, it’s about becoming a mogul, owning my own projects, and establishing myself as a funding producer. That’s what’s big to me. The movies and all that stuff are great, but the fact that I’m in a position to do what I want to do, however I want to do it and when I want to do it is bigger.” Hitmaker Tk2 said on social media.
With the momentum the young, talented record producer is currently on, there’s no denying that the future is most definitely a gold mine for him and the best thing about it all is that he’s just getting started.
Only time will tell, but there’s no denying that Hitmaker Tk2 is bound to be big as a record producer not only in Kenya but across the African continent.
