Kenya’s most dreaded police unit has received two new choppers to aid them in carrying out their services effectively.
It should be remembered that the bloodbath at Garissa University College on 2nd April 2015 where 148 people were killed could have been averted if Recce could have gotten to Garissa in time.
The unit lacked airplane to quickly transport them to Garissa to tackle Al Shabaab militants who invaded the varsity.
One of the choppers recently delivered to Recce is specifically for surveillance while the other is a transport helicopter.
