Bamboo has seen it all in the music industry, the talented rapper –who still has one of the timeless hit records to this day that broke through in the mainstream commercially in ‘Compe’ hit record– has opened up once again about his past in the music realm.

He opened up about how life is really spiritual and how many people are leading a life that leads nowhere.

According to the born-again rapper, he has seen it all plus he was at the brink of selling his soul soon after meeting up with Ja Rule in New York City, New York.

Bamboo who now answers to Bamboo the African Bantu disclosed that Ja Rule is actually an easy, friendly guy when you get to meet him in person than most people tend to believe.

The Kenyan rapper turned Evangelist went further to add that it was soon after he met up with the ‘Clap Back’ hitmaker that he was introduced to some upper echelon folks and higher-ups who control the music industry today playing puppeteers behind the curtains.

His then-girlfriend told her about how he was supposed to surrender his soul to the devil to become successful in the music industry because he was talented and he needed that push to become great in the industry.

“Throwback Thursday… Bamboo African Bantu and @jarule in NYC a few years back.

This was the time God was teaching me about who really owns and controls the music industry. I’m sure JahRule didn’t even know because when we spoke he was so cool.

Really friendly guy. It was shortly after this meeting that I was introduced to some “higher ups” in the industry.

A lady friend who I was dating at the time told me that I needed to be baptized into the brotherhood because I was very talented but I needed to be part of a society in order to have the kind of backing that could catapult my career into the stratosphere.

What she was really saying is that to “blow up” I need to sell my soul… #truestory #jesus #lifeisspiritual” Bamboo the African Bantu shared on social media.

Bamboo who has narrated this story numerous times opted not to sell his soul to blow up in the music industry because afterall, it’s not that serious and nothing is worth selling your soul over.
