Raj got an offer to sell his record label, Music Bank, and the entire music catalog of the company.
Raj believed in himself so much when nobody else did that he founded his own record label just to prove everybody else wrong, fast forward to 2021.
The company is now worth millions of Kenyan Shillings.
The rapper who built his Record company that is also a marketing and advertising agency from the ground up with the tunnel vision focus to become the next Sony Music of Africa after turning a lucrative deal with the music conglomerate a few years ago.
Raj real name Rajiv Okemwa got a buyout offer to sell his Music Bank company that is the home of the rapper, Dom Mwangemi and Alu-Vee who are the rappers affiliated with the brand.
Apparently, Raj was offered millions of Kenyan shilling but he’s not budging, the ‘Sawa Sawa’ hitmaker was offered 5.4 million Kenyan shillings on today’s exchange rate.
The interested party that the rapper didn’t share any information about, offered him a $50,000 buyout for the Music Bank company.
Raj who nowadays answers to Rajville says he doesn’t want to make a “mistake” just like his deal with Sony Music Africa, Raj turned down the deal, they wanted to sign him.

Just a couple of hours prior to him telling the entire world about the offer of his company got, Raj opened up about the urge of posing with a million cash that he made from his talent as a musician.

Alu-Vee who is the rapper affiliated with the record label told Raj not to sign away the brand if the offer is below $100,000.
He wants the proposed figure that he mentioned coming with good percentage ownership.
“No Selling Bro. This Just proves we got Gold,” Alu-Vee said, “it would be up for consideration maybe if it was above $100,000 & we still retain a good percentage ownership.”
Rajville hasn’t openly talked about the deal so far but it seems he’s turned it down because all he’s talking about is releasing songs every other Tuesday on his #baetuesday series that helped earn him a bargaining power at the end of the day.
“Some said releasing songs every Tuesday is a bad idea but #baetuesday steady giving me bargaining power. Note to self; Believe in yourself or nobody will” he tweeted.
