Raila Odinga is Impotent and CORD Very Useless!Uhuru’s Key Man Gets Personal With Baba

The war of words between the ruling Jubilee coalition and opposition’s Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) continues even as eight MPs spend nights in police cells over hate speech allegations. Eric Ng’eno, senior director of messaging at State House, has now claimed that CORD leader Raila Odinga is a frustrated man poking the healing wounds of 2007 post election violence.

Raila Odinga is frustrated because his penchant for mindless anarchy has elicited the skepticism and disdain of Kenyans.

Even his hired thugs have tired of directionless spectacles of violence and are threatening to turn on CORD leaders at their next demonstration.

The fact of the matter is that without people willing and able to do his bidding, Raila Odinga is impotent and CORD utterly toothless regardless of how colourful their threats seem.

The point has arrived when Kenyans, as one people, are able to boldly and simply reject calls to lawlessness regardless of who makes them. We are moving the body politic beyond incitement, division, conflict and lawlessness.

There is enough sense in the minds of Kenyans to realise that the legitimate exercise of one’s constitutional rights cannot and must not victimise other people.

This is why Kenyans have little sympathy for inciters of hatred and violence, as well as those hiding behind constitutional freedoms to foment unrest. And this moral moment knows no political, ethnic or other distinction. We are united for peace, national unity and the rule of law.
