Taking to social media a few hours ago, the Orange Democratic Movement Party leader expressed his gratitude to the two men from the Mt Kenya region who gifted him without asking for anything in return.

“Thank you Charles Gachara and Kaba Miano for the gift of shoes and armbands,” Raila Odinga shared on social media in part.

He went further to add that he’ll always wear them proudly as the brown pair of shoes fits him completely promising to deliver the other armband to President Uhuru Kenyatta as well.

“Nitatesa nazo! I will make sure I deliver to President Uhuru Kenyatta his armband as well,” he added.

Raila Odinga has been welcomed officially by the majority of people from the mountain who wants him to vie for the Presidency despite him not officially announcing that he will run for the Presidential elections in 2022.

His party, ODM is bound to have its primaries in the next couple of weeks to find out who will use its banner to vie for the top seat in the Republic of Kenya.
