Fire outbreak at Kirichwa Heights Apartments in Kilimani burnt down several houses on the apartment block including an MP’s house.
A house belonging to Mbalambala Member of Parliament Abdikadir Aden was among those that were torched by the fire.
The fire broke out on Monday at around 8:15 PM, no one was hurt during the incident. Fire brigade rushed to the scene on time to extinguish the fire before it spread to other buildings.
Property worth hundreds of thousands was razed during the incident. Police suspect the fire could have been caused by an electric fault though no they haven’t come up with a conclusive report.
