Prince Indah is currently riding high on the collabo that he did with Bahati dubbed ‘Adhiambo’ that has helped him become a mainstream artiste not only an Ohangla artiste but a national sought-after artiste.
The song that sees Bahati singing romantic Dholuo words in the lyrics of the song has been trending at the number 1 spot on YouTube since it got released officially yesterday has over 600K views and counting.
This accolade and achievement and the success of the song have shocked but utterly impressed the ‘Kido Mar Hera’ hitmaker who took to social media to note the obvious.
This is the very first time in Kenya’s music history that a Dholuo song has reached the overall #1 spot on YouTube, not only trending for Music on YouTube but generally.
This accolade has Prince Indah who worked with Khaligraph Jones in an unreleased song humbled thanking his fans and Bahati’s for pushing the song to be as big as it is.
He is also grateful that Luo music is finally getting the attention it finally deserves as many Kenyans would attest.
“It is moving very fast, thank you for making it big, my people. We are trending no #1 on YouTube. It has never happened before with a Luo Tune. Luo music to the world,” Prince Indah shared on social media.
Bahati agrees with his sentiments and told him that “bro, we made a hit,” in the comment section that Prince Indah shared on social media.
Yesterday, Prince Indah told his fans that the biggest collaboration record of 2021 was upon us of him together with Bahati.
“It is not news; I am here to just let you know the biggest collaboration of 2021 is dropping today [October 28, 2021] on YouTube at 12 noon,” he shared yesterday on social media platform/s.
True to his sentiments, he might be right because this is the most requested song on Kenyan radio and the most-watched music video on YouTube at the moment.
