President Yoweri Museveni won’t believe what Bobi Wine said over Besigye’s arrest

President Museveni’s government has been tormenting opposition leader, Kizza Besigye, ever since Ugandan’s general elections neared.

Besigye was arrested two days to the presidential polls then during the elections day he was once again arrested when he pointed out election malpractices.

The opposition leader was put under house arrest only to be released after Museveni was declared the winner of the Thursday 18th poll.

Poor Besigye was once again arrested yesterday as he was walking to Uganda’s election commission to protest mass irregularities during elections.

Besigye’s arrest has prompted unrest and protests among his supporters who have launched an online petition to have him released.

Self-proclaimed Ghetto president, Bobi Wine has joined the voices grumbling about Besigye’s unwarranted arrest.

Free Besigye Campaign has picked up among the opposition supporters. Bobi Wine took to social media to express his opinion.

“When the going gets tough, the tough must get going, especially when our leaders have become misleaders and mentors have become tormentors. When freedom of expression is met with suppression and oppression, then opposition becomes our position. As we preach peace, we must not shut our eyes and mouths to injustice or we shall be known by our children as the generation of hypocrites. Peace at gunpoint is actually piss.” Ranted Bobi Wine.

There’s a high chance Bobi Wine might go on ahead to pose a challenge to President Yoweri Museveni in the near future because he commands a lot of respect and he is also a huge influencer having almost all the youth rallying behind him.

He calls himself the Ghetto President for nothing, it might mean something after all.
