Director, Permanent Presidential Music Commission, Dr. Don Otoyo explained the reason behind having musicians from Nyanza region be the only ones performing at this year’s celebrations
“Since the Government began the hosting of national celebrations in counties on a rotational basis, PPMC always endeavors to give a bigger platform to artistes from that region in order to empower them and highlight what that region has to offer in terms of music and dance.
That is why also produce music projects which are usually released a few days before the big day” Dr. Don Otoyo said.
