Kenyans across the country are experiencing power outages.
Via social media, there are numerous reports of citizens reporting outages. It is unclear what has caused the sudden cut in power supply to homes and businesses.
There are reports of power outages from Nairobi, Thika, Kitengela, Kiambu and its environs.
In a statement, Kenya Power says; the blanket power outage due to a system disturbance affected parts of Nairobi, Coast and Mt Kenya regions.
