Police yesterday arrested two ISIL suspects who had been radicalized at a terror cell in Kangemi. The two, Kiguzo Mwangolo Mgutu and Abubakar Jillo Mohamed were planning terror attacks in Mombasa and Nairobi.
According to police statement sent to newsrooms, the two were planning retaliatory attacks following the arrest of their ring leader Mohamed Abdi Ali.
Police say material used to make Improvised Explosive Device (IED), fertilizer, electrical wire, ball bearing, nails, and mobile phones were recovered during the raid on the suspects’ hideout.
