Now a mother to an adorable child, Phy took us back to memory lane disclosing that indeed she’s from a musical background with her grandmother being a renowned singer having numerous records under her name.
Aside from her grandmother being a musician, she is also a revered teacher, she is a headteacher, and of course a fashionista.
Phy discloses what she’s been up to away from music
“A lot of who I am was and is still heavily influenced by my grandmother.

Phy also disclosed that her grandmother has inspired her a lot in so many ways and that it’s actually her grandmother, Phyllis Mwihaki who got her to love her signature head wraps that she’s been known

Phy who was named after her grandmother shared one studio albums released by her dubbed ‘Rugendo’ which is among the many projects she released over the past few years.
There’s no denying Phy gets her strength, inspiration, and positive energy from her grandmother who is now the great-grandmother to her child.
