Senator Boni Khalwale has been charged with Rioting after proclamation to disperse. The charge sheet reads that he is still in custody.
Senator Boni Khalwale will be arraigned in a Kakamega court over #CORDdemos . He was arrested for allegedly leading and organizing the Demos.
Also reportedly arrested is Suna East Mp hon JunetMohamed.
Anti riot police managed to control protesters in the city by placing barriers on all roads leading to the city,Nairobi.
But somehow, Raila Odinga and his CORD team managed to make it! Police presence was still heavy outside IEBC offices. Raila Odinga’s vehicle was sprayed with water, PSVs along the busy city streets were not spared either.
Will Boni Khalwale spend the night behind bars? We can only wait and see.
