Late businessman Jacob Juma’s family now reveals that someone stole a car from them.
Jacob Juma’s wife Miriam Wairimu says that it was unfortunate and sad that someone would take advantage of the grief-stricken mood and do such.
Miriam allegedly told The Standard’s Nairobian team that a man pretending to be part of Juma’s family from the village, stole a car they’d hired during the burial of her husband, the late Jacob Juma.
The man she says didn’t raise any suspicion as he looked all concerned, who did he manage to get interactive with the family.
Miriam reveals that,he introduced himself as a distant relative to Jacob Juma to the family from the city and the village,he would say he was from the city when he met the village family and say he was from the village when he meets any member of the city team.
The culprit, named Collins Monde(photo above) they all knew him as Frank from the meet and greet introductions during the burial volunteered to run the errand of buying a bouquet of flowers meant for the late Jacob Juma’s grave.
So,he was given the car keys to rush and come back with the flowers but after hours of waiting,Miriam says, they suspected him and raised alarm.
The Nissan x trail was tracked down to Eldoret town by the hiring company and the intervention of the police.
They got the car,but Frank was nowhere to be seen.
