Accidents has been rampant this year and the past few weeks we have had more than a dozen accidents both reported and none reported, to help curb this and/or reduce accidents cases, our drivers especially thode driving the public service vehicled ought to learn the basic rules of the basic rules of the road as most of them actually didn’t even go to driving school.
18 hours ago as narrated by Andrew Ongori in Facebook (all images courtesy goes out to him) experienced an accident that saw many dead after being burnt beyond recognition and him alongside his friends were the heroes after pjlling out the victims from the vehicle way before the fire bursted into flames.
The Transline vehicle’s number plate number was KBH 065M. May their souls rest in eternal peace.

“As i drive home this night have witnessed a very terrible accident that has claimed over five lives. As i start the stretch from mahimahiu to narok, i drive around 10kms and i see this matatu hit a standstill lorry as it heads to Nairobi , i stop a few meters away, I en two guys i picked at afya center to accompany me rush out to at least save some lives, we manage to pull four victims out, en all of a sudden the matatu bursts with fire, i try putting it off with my small extinguisher to no avail, I try running to each en every car en vehicle that had now crowded i mis extinguishers to my surprise, by the time i get one from a lorry that had just come, i rush back en put off the fire, it was too late, the victims had already burnt to dead. I have felt so so bad. May their souls rest in peace.”
