A 22-year-old woman who stabbed her boyfriend 22times to death was on Wednesday 31 crowned Miss Langata Women Prison in a ceremony that saw a bevy of beauties compete in the annual event.
Ruth Wanjiru Kamande, who is facing murder charges,is accused of killing her boyfriend Farid Mohammed in Buruburu on September 21. Mohammed later died at Kenyatta National Hospital upon arrival after bleeding.
Ruth,who beat other 19 contestants to emerge the winner also sustained face injuries in the said incident. She was handcuffed on her hospital bed.
