A famous deputy governor was last Friday night arrested by the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA),after failing an alcohol blow test.
Kakamega’s Philip Museve Kutima spent the night at Ruiru Police Station after he was intercepted by NTSA officers during one of the crackdowns along various roads in Nairobi.
By Saturday 9am Mr Kutima was still being held at the station together among 43 other offenders arrested in the night.
Government officers were among the arrested drivers and are expected in court on Monday.
