Bonny Khalwale, the Kakamega senator ‘s brother has reportedly collapsed and died at a hospital in Eldoret town. Khalwale’s brother, Gaeb Ashiono Khalwale, 58, was an an aerospace lecturer at Moi University. We will update you on new developments to this story.

In February, Senator Khalwale lost his elder brother Henry Khayati Khalwale. He had been admitted in hospital before passing on aged 66.

Khalwale eulogized Khayati saying he was a wise and sober man.

“He (my brother) asked my mother to stop educating me from proceeds of chang’aa and took over (the business),” Bonny Khalwale says.

Opposition leader Raila Odinga was among leaders who sent condolence messages for the loss in February.
